Sketch of the day in my Daler Rowney art journal is of a yellow Fire Hydrant up on Penang Hill. I have started notice that there are many different types of shapes and sizes. They are really interesting. I sketched a red one when I was in Singapore. That fire hydrant is slightly different to this one which has curved arms.

I’m just a copy cat. I thought Finnegan the fire Hydrant would go along well with all your characters, from Stewart the seagull to Jack the lizard. You have a very rich imagination. 🙂

Bonne semaine Tiffany.

Finnegan the fire hydrant turns alive in the streets of Penang at night.
He roams the streets of Georgetown to give water to the stray dogs hiding from evil government.
(Ok. It is a bit corny. I’ll work on it.)
