You’re only too kind. But I’m glad my attempts at humour made you laugh. 😉

Goodness gracious! Not even mittens for its delicate leaves?
May 25, 2016 at 19:42
Yes it goes one step further, being British it doesn’t mind being naked in winter 😆😂
May 25, 2016 at 00:46
Well, since it is a British avocado it probably wears shorts in the winter and all that? Ho, Ho.
May 23, 2016 at 19:36
It’s lasted one winter outdoors already. I think the avocado should be well trained lol

Avocados come from the tropics. Don’t know which. Grows easily with a little sun and warmth (a typical UK weather right?) When winter comes (if you are still in London, you have two options, either cover it with straw to protect it from the cold, or unplant it with roots and earth, stick itno a pot and bring it inside. They make quite lovely plants.

oh I didnt know they don’t grow in cold weather. I just threw the seed in the garden! and it grows lol. Maybe it wont last when winter comes.

Parsley sage rosemary and… 🙂
Avocado? In an english garden. Compliments. We did grow a tiny avocado tree in Paris once, but inside. :

We have fresh mint, thyme and a growing avocado tree! But the pucerons are pests.
May 18, 2016 at 23:44
Ok. Though yours looks much more impressive. They are a plague, especially on roses. I wonder what could shoo them away. Cinnamon is prefect for ants. “Pucerons”? Je sais pas. So you have a garden? In London? Lucky you. And you have tea in the garden while searching for inspiration? 🙂
May 18, 2016 at 00:37
yes according to google you are correct! 🙂
May 16, 2016 at 22:25
Nice sketch. Not too sure what it’s called in french? Puceron?
May 16, 2016 at 20:29
Thank you very much. They are a right pest I must say but interesting creatures.
May 16, 2016 at 20:27
The garden is crawling with them at the moment and the ants look like they are in cahoots 😆

excellent sketch – and the accompanying faggot as window dressing – very clever… and I agree with mysm2000 🙂
