If you drop by my HQ I might draw you but if you drop by twice I have no choice but to feature you. This large beetle dropped by on the night of the super moon. Ancient Egyptians worshipped the scarab for it’s powers. The beetle symbols new beginnings and rebirth. The next morning, it was still crawling around the table so I placed it gently in a flower pot and it buried itself in the soil and disappeared. Today, I noticed it had crawled out an vanished, leaving a hole in the soil as evidence of its departure.
Sketch of the day in my moleskine art journal is of a large coconut Rhino beetle.
