The art connection…Bringing Us Together Through Art.

I absolutely love this video 🌏🎨🌎

The ART Connection…
Bringing Us Together Through Art. We’re OK 👌 All Right 👍

This art video shows how art has connected artists from around the world during this challenging time in quarantine. We are physically isolated from our friends and family but we can connect through social media and that is a blessing.

Thank you Shegar and Malar for making this beautiful connection happen. ❤️

Love from Malaysia 🇲🇾

Covid-19 lockdown Gratitude flowers series: cherry blossoms

Double Cherry blossoms

The smallest act of kindness is worth more than the greatest intention ~ Khalil Gibran

It’s covid-19 lockdown day no 43/56 in Malaysia.

This week I’m dedicating flowers to the strong women in my life. I don’t thank my friends and family enough or tell them why they are important to me in my life, so I’m taking this opportunity during lockdown to remedy this. 

Thank you @angehemnani for pushing my boundaries, for moving me out of my comfort zone. Thank you for keeping friends together and organising activities so that we stay connected all these years. Love you always ❤️

#Signup4my sign language video challenge for vulnerable communities in Malaysia

Please help to share and spread my message 🙏

It’s Covid-19 lockdown day 41. For 41 days i have been at home safely reflecting and continuing on with my blessed life, but I know there are millions of people who are not safe, who are hungry, who are vulnerable.

MALAYSIA’S MOST VULNERABLE COMMUNITIES ARE IN DIRE NEED.

Communities that were struggling before covid 19: orphans, elderly, differently abled (OKU), homeless, and refugees, among others – need vital support. Many of our homegrown NGOs that provide care and support to these communities have been overlooked during this challenging period.

Not only are the NGOs facing setbacks in donations and volunteers, managing daily operations has become an uphill battle. To add to the problem, a significant portion now needs to be allocated for additional sanitation, delivery, transportation, food stock as well as hospital visits and fees.

I don’t have many skills to help with the situation, but what I can do is to stay positive, create awareness and donate money.

I urge you to do the same.

We became fast friends because i admire your independence, courage and strength right from the start.
I knew we would be great friends when we survived our adventure to Turkey. What an amazing trip!
Thank you for being my friend, art supporter and critic. I cherish our midnight chats about art and life when the world is sleeping. You inspire me to push my boundaries and step out of my comfort zone.  Love you Abby and i will be liquid fasting this ramadan because you asked me to ❤️

Stay home and stay safe xoxo

Wishing you a happy new year!

Bestnine 2018

As the last day of 2018 draws to a close, I take time to reflect on what I have achieved this year.
I have been guilty of forgetting successes and focusing on failures so when people ask me I would tell them my year was OK when in reality there is no shame in failure if you can overcome it or learn from it.
This year has been incredible, amazing, not just OK. It has been a turning point in my outlook in life. It’s not that this year is better than last year but the difference is that I have learnt to appreciate myself and finally acknowledged how much I have achieved and grown.
My art journey dragged me out of the doldrums and I have learnt a lot about myself and what I can achieve since I started my sketchbook in 2013.
I sincerely wish everyone one of you a happy new year and may the new year bring us love, peace and joy ❤️
